Mind Body Integration™ Yoga Therapy incorporates some or all of the tools of yoga—for example, breathing, postures, meditation—to promote physical, mental and spiritual wellness. Unlike a general yoga class, yoga therapy is done in a private setting and based on a personalized intake session. Combining the benefits of talk therapy with movement, yoga therapy at Mind Body Integration is an ideal way to address the symptoms of a range of mental health conditions from depression and anxiety to insomnia, dementia and bereavement. It can also be very effective for couples coping with chronic illness and caregiver burnout. Anyone can do yoga therapy. You do not have to be flexible and can have mobility issues. The only requirement to do yoga therapy is that you’re breathing.
